Native Grass and Straw Bed Improvements

This April I will have completed my 5th year at Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club.  This morning as I was writing the prior post I went through some pictures that I had taken my first year at the club and was proud to look back and think about what we have accomplished at this facility.  I wanted to share some of those photos with you.  A lot of the areas are places on the course that we have converted to native grass or straw beds.  It's pretty amazing to look at the improvements.  Keep these photos in your mind next time you play the course.

This is just one example of the improvement. Same spot # 3 Rough

We are constantly trying to take things to the next step here at Palo Alto C.C. to provide the finest playing conditions possible.  I am hopeful that in another 5 years we will have improved just as much as the last.
