Bent grass Aerification

May 7^th we will be aerifying the bent grass putting surfaces.  This will include the chipping green, number 5 and 7.  We are holding off on the putting green due to the fact that it was just sodded.  The reason that we aerify the bent grass in May and not March is because we do not want any contamination of Poa seed. Another major factor is that Bent grass heals a lot quicker with the warmer temperatures unlike Poa that prefers cool moist conditions.
